Team Garland

Running the 2022 Boston Marathon was an experience I will never forget. As a first time runner, I was fortunate and honored to run on behalf of the Boston Local 718 Firefighter and Family Cancer Foundation. Having been a part of this organization from its inception and seeing it grow exponentially in such a short time-frame is extraordinary to say the least. This organization is here to relinquish some of the burden that cancer has imposed on the members of Local 718 and their families who have been diagnosed with this horrible disease. I’m proud to be part of a foundation that prides itself on serving those who serve our city and am honored to run the 2023 Boston Marathon again on behalf of this organization.
